A comparative study of single fiber electromyography and repetitive nerve stimulation in consecutive patients with myasthenia gravis

Abstract discusses comparison of 33 patients with MG who underwent RNS, 30 of which also underwent SFEMG.  The RNS was normal in 6 patients and all patients had abnormal SFEMG studies.  Authors concluded that SFEMG is indicated in the patients with MG in whom RNS is negative.
